By downloading or using QR Scan & Gen ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

QR Scan & Gen is a free mobile application that allows you to:

• Scan QR codes, barcodes, and other machine-readable codes using your device camera
• Generate QR codes and barcodes in various formats
• View and manage your scan and generation history (stored locally)
• Share generated codes with other apps

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App to:

• Generate or scan QR codes that link to illegal, harmful, or malicious content
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or tamper with the App

4. Advertisements

The App is supported by advertising provided by Huawei Petal Ads (HMS) on Huawei devices. By using the App, you consent to the display of advertisements. Ad content is provided by third-party networks and is subject to their own terms and policies.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements. QR code scanning accuracy depends on code quality, lighting conditions, and device capabilities.

6. Limitation of Liability

MKDEV shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to damages resulting from:

• Scanning malicious QR codes
• Loss of locally stored scan history
• Device incompatibility or app malfunction

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code in QR Scan & Gen is the property of MKDEV. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the App or its contents without permission.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of South Africa.
